Those five little words make a big difference. They can be a game-changer in this one and only life that we are living.
Each breath we take is a gift and should be stewarded well.
Attention is described as our number one currency. It's something that we can't make more of and we don't get a "do-over" when we blow it. Where you put your attention, shows what you currently value the most.
Years (and years) ago, my mom got a personalized car tag. Doing so was a bit out of character for her. The letters she chose were interesting and a bit confusing. I had never heard her mention the phrase.
Be There
Her car tag choice is directly from one of her favorite Jim Elliot quotes that says:
Wherever you are, be all there!
Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.
Even though I had never heard my mom mention this phrase, I had watched her live it out for years. She is a fabulous example of someone who is living fully in the moment. She gives her undivided attention to whatever she is doing or whoever she is with. Her car tag is how she lives her life.
Your one and only life matters. You have important things to do and special people to love. You don't get a do-over. So, I'm cheering for you big as you are purposeful in being where your feet are today.
This is our goal for all of our days.
... to Be There.
... to be fully present.
... to be all in.
... to Be Where Our Feet Are!
